EXPLANATION OF CONTEST RULES
1. This Word Submission contest is hosted on UPickEm and is sponsored by KTVQ Television ("Q2") Cowboys Restaurant Bar Casino, and Yellowstone E-Waste Solutions is subject to these Official Contest Rules.
2. No purchase is necessary. Contest is open to U.S. Residents who are at least 18 years of age. To participate in the Contest (hereinafter the "Contestant or Contestants") Contestants are encouraged to watch the CW Billings on weekdays (Over-the-air: Channel 2.2, Optimum cable: Channel 11, Direct TV: Channel 5) for the chance to spot the Daily Watch & Win Word (presented numerous times each weekday) the Contestants are then encouraged to submit the daily word they spotted at the Watch & Win contest located on The CW Billings Facebook page or at the Contest Tab inside ktvq.com. Upon “liking” The CW Billings Facebook, a Contestant will have access to the contest where Contestant will either log into their current UPickEm registration or register with UPICKEM and submit the Watch & Win word of the day. There are a total of 20 Watch & Win words presented each weekday in May beginning at 5:00AM on Friday May 4, 2012 through 11:59PM on Thursday, May 31, 2012. Contestants may only submit one word per weekday having up to 20 chances to enter to win one of 4 weekly prize packages.
3. Alternative entry method includes logging onto http://www.ktvq.com and visiting the contest tab where the Contestant can then log into their current UPickEm registration or register with UPICKEM and submit the Watch & Win word of the day. There are a total of 20 Watch & Win words presented each weekday in May beginning at 5:00AM on Friday May 4, 2012 through 11:59PM on Thursday, May 31, 2012. Contestants may only submit one word per weekday having up to 20 chances to enter to win one of 4 weekly prize packages.
4. One winner will be randomly selected each week from the Contestants who submitted the correct Watch & Win words from the week. Week one prize winner will be selected on Friday May 11, 2012 from the Contestants who participated Friday, May 4, 2012 through Thursday, May 10, 2012. Week two prize winner will be selected on Friday May 18, 2012 from the Contestants who participated Friday, May 11, 2012 through Thursday, May 17, 2012. Week three prize winner will be selected on Friday May 25, 2012 from the Contestants who participated Friday May 18, 2012 through Thursday May 24, 2012. Week four prize winner will be selected on Friday June 1, 2012 from the Contestants who participated Friday May 25, 2012 through Thursday May 31, 2012. A total of 4 Grand prize winners will be selected over the length of this contest. The winners will each be notified via phone by KTVQ staff. The randomly selected winner will have until June 29, 2012 to redeem their prize package. If the winner does not claim the prize within the stated time, KTVQ reserves the right to use the prize package in another future contest. Each Grand prize packages include: $250 visa gift card, $25 iTunes Gift Card, 2 CW Billings Coffee Mugs, and 4 DVD Box Sets (The Vampire Diaries – The Complete First Season, Gossip Girl – The Complete Third Season, Supernatural – The Complete Fifth Season, and Smallville – The Complete Ninth Season). The prize packages are each valued at $500. The winner will redeem their prize weekday’s 8am-5pm KTVQ’s Station, 3203 3rd Ave North, Billings MT 59101.
CONDITIONS
1. The winner will be notified by telephone by KTVQ. UpickEm, KTVQ, & affiliates shall not be responsible for failure to claim any prize based on mechanical or printing errors, or allegations of telephone difficulties.
2. As a condition to being eligible to enter the Contest, or to receive any prize, all Contestants are by their entries submitted, subject to the terms of these Official Contest Rules as well as the statements contained in the entry form itself. As a condition to being awarded a contest prize, the winners must execute a written release of KTVQ from any and all liability arising out of participation in the Contest and receipt and use of the prizes.
3. All federal, state and local taxes, if any, levied on the receipt of the prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the winners. The prizes are not transferable to third parties nor can they be resold, exchanged, or redeemable for cash.
4. All decisions of UPickEm & KTVQ are final.
5. Determination of the eligibility and acceptability of all entries, Contestants and winner(s) are in the sole discretion of KTVQ and are final.
6. Winner must show proof of identification and sign an affidavit of eligibility and release.
7. Contestants are subject to and will follow, adhere to and obey the instructions and rules contained in these Official Contest Rules, and such other rules and regulations as may be established from time to time by KTVQ. KTVQ reserves the right to change the rules and/or discontinue this contest at any time without prior notice.
8. No Contestant and no member of the Contestant's immediate family (spouse, ex-spouse, parents, siblings, children) or household members (whether related or not) shall be employees, officers, directors, representatives or agents of KTVQ or of any other contractor or sponsor associated with this contest.
9. All Contestants shall abide by, follow and adhere to the decency rules established by the FCC and by KTVQ and shall not have been convicted of a felony of any kind.
10. Contestants are not, nor shall he or she for any purposes be considered, an employee of KTVQ, UPickEm, or any of the sponsoring businesses, nor have any such opportunities been offered or promised to the Contestant, and participation in the Contest shall not be construed in any manner to constitute any offer of any such opportunities. The Contestants are not eligible for any benefits of any kind from KTVQ and its affiliates of any nature whatsoever by virtue of his or her participation in the Contest.
